Ladislav Novák

Ladislav Novak was born on August 4th, 1925 in Turnov and died on July 28th1999 in Trebic. Novak was a Czech painter and writer. He studied at the Philosophical Faculty in Prague. He was a leading representative of Czech surrealism. He excelled as a poet, wrote a specific phonic poetry. In the visual expression is the author of a specific technique called froasáže. Creating Ladislav Novak is extremely rugged, multi-faceted,
diverse, playful, almost dreamy, but it is not possible anywhere
accurately classified. He is not added to any artistic group
or program. There are many facets of his artistic activities. Permanent exhibition of his work is open in Trebic, where he lived and worked most of his life
